Applied Technology Courses

Courses offered at Mid-Maine Technical Center are an integral part of area high school curricula. Primary sending schools are Lawrence, Messalonskee, Waterville, and Winslow high schools. Students also participate from area private schools and adult education programs. Students attend MMTC in the morning and afternoon for approximately two and one-half hours a day. Three credits are earned upon the successful completion of a course.

Technical Teams have been developed at MMTC to create a team approach in coordinating instructional activities that support common career expectations. Life skills and transferable work skills can be taught within a technical team. Teams are encouraged to work together on projects to enhance the educational experience.
