2006 State of Maine SkillsUSA-VICA Medals
On March 9 and 10, 2006, thirty-three students from Mid-Maine Technical Center competed in twenty-seven competitions at the SkillsUSA - VICA Championships. Annually, Mid-Maine Technical Center is one of the top schools in the state competing at the SkillsUSA - VICA Championships.
The competitions were hosted by Eastern Maine Technical College, Penobscot Job Corps and United Technology Center in Bangor. Five hundred students representing twenty-seven technical schools throughout the state participated in the SkillsUSA - VICA Championships. The SkillsUSA - VICA Championships is sponsored annually by the Maine Chapter of SkillsUSA - VICA.
The gold medal winners will represent the State of Maine in the National SkillsUSA - VICA Championships, which will be held June 19 - 23, 2006 in Kansas City, Missouri.
