Employment Readiness Program
Bonnie Tracy M.Ed., Instructor
Students have the opportunity to acquire the skills and work experience necessary to gain entry level employment. The Work Skills session focuses on the required skill sets for successful workplace participation. In addition, this session provides specific job training in the areas of Food Service, Vehicle Reconditioning and Retail work. The Work Experience session requires participation in community training sites where entry level job skills are put into practice. In addition, this session provides individualized career planning, with emphasis on the hiring process. Both sessions help students build a career portfolio and apply various academic skills such as math, writing and reading.
